Right from the start, Galaxy showed their strength on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Matthew McKay impressed once again with both his passing and running ability, connecting on big plays with his receivers. Wideout Kevin Kaya was a key target, finishing with 5 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Galaxy’s defense also stepped up early and didn’t allow Paris to score in the first half. The Musketeers were down 0–19 at halftime, with a weather delay just before the break slowing things down — but not Galaxy’s momentum.
In the second half, the Musketeers woke up. Quarterback Jaylon Henderson threw for over 340 total yards and three touchdowns, helping Paris score 23 points in the final quarter, including a safety. They came all the way back to take the lead 28-27 in the final minute, but fell to a field goal from Ryan Rimmler as time expired.
