The Paris Musketeers return to Stade Robert Bobin this Sunday, May 25, for their second home game of the season. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM CEST as they host the Stuttgart Surge, who enter Week 2 riding high after an impressive victory over the Frankfurt Galaxy.
The Musketeers dropped a tough 17–15 decision to the defending champions, Rhein Fire, in Week 1. While they held Rhein to just two touchdowns and kept the game tight throughout, Paris struggled in the red zone, settling for three field goals from Mathys Dupont.
Quarterback Jaylon Henderson showed flashes of his potential, passing for 180 yards and a touchdown, while also extending plays with his mobility. Defensively, Paris impressed — holding Rhein Fire to just 214 total yards and keeping their offense largely in check.
The Surge opened their 2025 campaign with a statement win, defeating the Frankfurt Galaxy 33–20. Quarterback Reilly Hennessey was clinical, completing 14 of 19 passes for 197 yards and a touchdown. Running back Tomiwa Oyewo provided balance to the offense with strong performances on the ground, and Stuttgart’s defense delivered with a disciplined effort that kept Frankfurt out of rhythm.
The victory was a clear signal that Stuttgart intends to be a contender again this season. After a strong 2023 and 2024 season, the team appears reloaded and confident.
